At some point you will realize that you have done too much for someone, that the only next possible step to do is to stop. Leave them alone. Walk away. It's not like your giving up and it's not like you shouldn't try. It's just that you have to draw the line of determination from desperation. What truly yours will eventually be yours and what is not, no matter how hard you try, will never be.

Only in this central experience is human reality, only here is aliveness, only here is the basis for love. Love, experienced thus is a constant challenge, it is not a resting place, but a moving, growing, working together, they are one with each other by being one with themselves.

In real life, love has to be possible. Even if it is not returned right away, love can only survive when the hope exists that you will be able to win over the person you desire.
