We must be willing to let go of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

When she left, it was like someone had ripped my heart out, crumbled it up like a flimsy piece of loose leaf paper and crammed it back into my chest. It somehow managed to work, but it would never, ever feel the same.

Hold on to the thought that no emotion lasts forever, no matter how wonderful or how terrible the emotion may be. The tears may last a little longer than you would like, but it will get better. I promise.

And that's when I know it's over. As soon as you start thinking about the beginning, it's the end.

The hardest part about breaking up is letting go of the last piece of your heart.

It hurts to say goodbye to someone you love but it’s the best for both of us to move on.

Watching you walk out of my life does not make me bitter or cynical about love. But rather makes me realize that if I wanted so much to be with the wrong person how beautiful it will be when the right one comes along.
